With humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing of Roger Dean Thornton who passed on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, at his residence. Roger was the beloved son of Omar and Alice Thornton, both of whom preceded him in death.
Roger was a 1971 graduate of Jackson High School. He was employed at Bellisio’s of Jackson.
He attended Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church of Jackson and most recently World Outreach of Wellston. He loved his church family dearly.
He is survived by several relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 8th, 2024, from 5-7PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Private gravesides services will be held at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
