Charles Isaac Massie

Charles Isaac Massie, age 40, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at Ohio State University Wexner. He was born October 16th, 1985, in Ironton, Ohio.

Charles enjoyed country music and loved to fish. He was a kind, friendly guy who never met a stranger. His family will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his mother, Shauna (McCormick) Massie; father, Stephen (Kelly) Massie; brother, Stephen Patrick Massie; step-brothers, Austin and Whyatt Mannon; and aunts, Victoria Jean Massie and Connie (Whitt) McCormick. 

Charles was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, at Flagsprings Cemetery in Patriot, Ohio. A procession will leave the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill at 12:15 PM to head to the graveside. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the funeral home to help with expenses.
