Elizabeth "Betsy" Lynn Yerian

Elizabeth “Betsy” (Thomas) Yerian, age 66, passed away September 18th, 2026, after a short illness at UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Betsy was born June 7th, 1960, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late David and Barbara (Walke) Thomas.

Betsy was a 1979 graduate of Jackson High School. She worked at various food establishments down through the years. In her free time, she enjoyed walking through Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe, watching the ducks, and reading which was one of her favorite past times.

She is survived by her brother, Mark (Jan) Thomas of Racine, Ohio; sisters, Jennifer Tomas and Carol Thomas both of Jackson, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Brandon (Katie) Thomas of Columbus, Ohio, Abby (Josh) Smith of Racine, Ohio, Nicole Thomas of Los Angeles, California, Heather Thomas of New York, New York, and Seth Thomas of Jackson, Ohio; great-niece, Emerie Smith of Racine, Ohio; uncle, John Walke of Xenia, Ohio; and her dog, Tiny.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Yerian; two brothers, Bob Thomas, and Chris Thomas; as well as several aunts and uncles.
