Christopher Blaine Evans

Christopher “Chris” Blaine Evans, age 56, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly related to a long battle with cardiac issues on Saturday, September 26th, 2026. Christopher was born November 18th, 1969, in Oak Hill, Ohio to Nancy (Bill) Jones and the late Jeffrey Evans.

Christopher enjoyed fishing and hunting, but the thing he enjoyed most was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and the rest of his family.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his children: Nathan Evans, Wesley (LaDoska) Evans, Michael Evans, Chasity (Ethan) Barker, Mariah (JC) Casey, and Chloe Evans; grandchildren: Gracie Evans, Savannah Evans, Emory Evans, Rowan Bowling, Aubree Davidson, Maci Davidson, Kolton Barker, Remi Barker, Kinsley Casey, and Graysen Casey; and siblings: Missy (Brent) Ervin, Johnette (Carla) Skeens, and Amy Evans (Kevin Holsinger).

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by several other family members.

No public services will be held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
