Linda Carper

Linda Carper, age 71, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 30th, 2026, at Holzer Jackson of Ohio. Linda was born October 30th, 1954, in Glasgow, Scotland, to the late William and Rebecca (Melville) Strang.

Linda is survived by her husband, Michael J. Carper of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Michael Rebecca Carper of Logan, Ohio; son, Andrew Strang Carper of Jackson, Ohio; granddaughters, Baylee Owrey and Peyton Carper of Jackson, Ohio; sisters, Wilma (Tam) Strang and Ida (Robert) Walker of Glasgow, Scotland; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law in Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews in both Scotland and Ohio.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, May Cameron and niece, Samantha McKay.

The family will greet guests on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, from 12PM-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Interment will be at the convenience of the family and she will be returned to Glasgow, Scotland. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
