Rosemary Eloise Jones, age 94, of Oak Hill passed away Friday April 24, 2020, at Oakwood Community Care in Jackson. She was born in Oak Hill to the late Claude W. and Verna M. (Whitt) Slagle.

Eloise is survived by her three sons, Dwight Jones, of Columbus, Dennis Jones, of Oak Hill and David Jones, of Chillicothe.

Eloise worked in many different jobs over the years. After graduation she worked at Aetna Firebrick in the office, later she worked for the Sentinel paper and as an accountant at the Oak Hill Swimming Pool. She last worked for the Jackson County Job and Family Services as a case worker. She played the organ at the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church and some at the St. Paul Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac “Ike” Jones.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the C.M. Cemetery in Oak Hill with Rev. Herman Stewart officiating. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, Ohio we are asked to limit the number in attendance to 50 or under and practice proper social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 205 E. Cross St, Oak Hill, OH 45656 and/or the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
