Tonda J. Maynard, age 59, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 28th, 2021, after a long fight with liver disease. She was born December 4th, 1961, in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
She is survived by her oldest daughter, Christina Trowbridge; youngest daughter, Whisper (David) McClain; grandchildren: Connor, Kit, Amber, Dakota, and Jenny; sister, Paula Chesser (Jeremy Hay); five brothers: Tony Phillips, Billy (June) Phillips, Paul, Butch, and Tony Chesser; nieces: Jill Phillips, Brittany Chesser, and Becky Phillips; nephews: Dalton and Memphis Crowe, Devan Chesser, Foster Phillips, Wes (Carly) McClain; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tonda was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Maynard; father and mother, Paul and Viola Chesser; sister, Tammy Chesser; brother, Aaron Chesser; grandson, Mathew; sister-in-law, Marsha Phillips; and niece, Cynthea Phillips.
Tonda spent the last five years sober enjoying life with her family going on lots of adventures with her children sharing tons of love and laughter. She was a hippie who had a smile that would light up a room. She was always so proud of her family. She was truly a brave and caring soul.
