Mark Edward Fairchild

Mark Edward Fairchild, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026, at his residence. Mark was born April 17th, 1963, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Clarence and Janice (Conger) Fairchild.

Mark was fun-natured, loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed being goofy and making others laugh. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering on automobiles and watching squirrels. He had a beautiful heart and soul and cherished spending time with his family. All the memories he created with them will hold a special place in their hearts.

Mark is survived by his children: Katlyn Fairchild, Caleb (Jodi) Fairchild, and Luke Fairchild; grandchildren, Reece and Bentley; siblings: Teresa Hannah, Rhonda Bonner, Lori Wright, and Beth Craig.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2026, from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with a funeral service immediately after at 1PM. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio.
