Roger W. Lee, age 79, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at his home. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 17, 1944, the only son of the late Wilson E. and Ruth (Rutan) Lee.


He attended Northwestern High School and was a member and trustee of Trinity Wesleyan Church of Oak Hill.

Roger was raised working on the family farm, he worked for years at Cargill of Dayton, Ohio and retired from Bud Lee Pools, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio. He also volunteered as a firefighter for Box 27 Associates in Springfield, Ohio. He spent his retirement doing maintenance for his church, mowing yards for neighbors, and fixing anything that needed help. He loved to make people smile and laugh. He loved the outdoors.


Roger is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beverly Sue Lee of Oak Hill, Ohio; his sisters, Phoebe J. (Kenneth) and Sara L. (Clyde Welch) Ramsey; his son, Randy C. (Becky Hardman) Lee of Morral, Ohio; his daughter, Marsha K. (Terry) Watson of Lebanon, Ohio; his daughter, Kimberlee S. (Timothy) Keiser of Whitehouse, Ohio; his daughter, Tina M. (Dave) Baird of Toana, Virginia; his daughter, Linda G. Tuttle of Bluffton, South Carolina; his son, Brian S. (Tina) Shell of Obetz, Ohio; his grandchildren: Raymond (Mindy), Bradford, Christopher (Shayla), Aaron (Catie), Phillip (Sara), Casey, Clark, Abigail (Adam), Haley, Brian, Jacob, Samantha (Jarod), Robert (Amna) and Alex; as well as 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Ann Lembke.


Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, from 1-3PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. A funeral service will follow at 3PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
