Donald Piguet Jr., age 76, of Oak Hill, passed away February 8, 2024 at his girlfriends home, Pamela Campbell. He was born June 15, 1947 in Scioto county to the late Donald Piguet and mother, Tillie (Neff) Piguet Roark (stepfather Woodrow).
He is survived by his one son, Chris Piguet; one granddaughter, Brittney (Codey Strawn) Piguet and one grandson, Christopher (Cierra) Piguet; three great grandsons, Connor Oglesbee, Harrison, and Silas Piguet, and one great grandson on the way. Also surviving is his sister, Mary (Chuck) Piguet Bramblett, of Wheelersburg, Ohio and brother, Kevin (Nita) Roark, of South Webster, Ohio. Donald leaves behind many cousins and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna (French) Piguet and one great grandson, Shade Oglesbee.
Donald worked for Plibrico for 32 years, until retirement. He enjoyed motorcycles, old classic cars and trucks, fishing, hunting, and visiting with family and friends. He will be missed by many. He loved and cherished his girlfriend. He attended the Old Country Church Tabernacle in Oak Hill.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice of Promedica, and Dr. Inoshita for their care given to Donald. Also thank you to the many friends that texted or stopped by to see Donald.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 12, 2024, from 11-2 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bryon Carmon officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
