David A. Jones, age 60, passed away Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at Ashford of Grove City, Ohio. He was born April 13th, 1963, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Isaac and Eloise (Slagle) Jones.
David was a 1981 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He then attended the University of Rio Grande from which he obtained his bachelor’s degree. David was a 31-year employee of Kenworth.
In addition to being a railroad history buff, David had many hobbies including woodworking, antique furniture restoration, and automobile restoration.
He is survived by his brothers, Dwight Jones of Columbus, Ohio and Dennis Jones of Oak Hill, Ohio.
