James Roger Ervin, age 63, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 28th, 2020 at his residence. He was born April 7th, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio to Marjorie (Erwin) Ervin and the late, Roger Ervin.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Robert (Twila) Ervin.

He was preceded by his father and a sister, Jane Ervin.

He was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and the University of Rio Grande. He retired from Jackson County after thirty years of service. He was a member of the Jackson Jaycees and a member of Vega Church.

The family would like to extend thanks to his caregiver, Cindy Bentley.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 3rd, 2020 from 11am-1pm at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Josh West officiating. Burial will follow at Vega Cemetery.
