Barbara K. (O’Banion) Mullins, beloved wife and cherished mother and “Gigi” age 68, of Jackson, went to be an angel on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on February 10, 1951 in Connersville, IN. to the late Phyllis (Martindale) and Estil O’Banion. She was the second of four children.

Barbara took the blank canvas of life and filled it with beautiful colors of incredible light. Her gentle, joyful spirit and zest for life affected everyone she touched. She went above and beyond for her family and made life special.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 45 years, Mikeal Mullins, of Jackson; daughter, Heather (Mullins) Neff (Dac), of Jackson; grandsons, Dayne and Drew Neff, also of Jackson; her siblings, Dorajo O’Banion Rusincovitch (Jim), of Port Clinton, Ohio, Dale O’Banion (Jane), of Austin, Texas; brother-in-law, John Pappas, of Jackson; special niece and nephew, Kim (Robbins) Arthur (Jaime) and Matthew Robbins and a host of other nieces and nephews, and friends. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Kathie Toth (John), of St. Petersburg, FL, and Sharon Dillon (Mike), of Rock Hill, SC.

She will be fondly remembered for her compassion, grace, wit, charm, class and joyful heart.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, June 28, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 4-6 PM prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
