Kenneth Lewis Kiser, beloved husband, father, brother, poppy, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 2nd, 2026.

Ken was born August 26th, 1966, in Patriot, Ohio to his loving parents, Morlan and Betty Kiser. He was a graduate of Southwestern High School, class of 1984, and the University of Rio Grande.

Ken married the love of his life, Stephanie Ward Kiser, on November 23rd, 1991. Together, they were looking forward to celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary.

He was a devoted father to his daughter, Paige (Matt) Whitlock, and to his late son, Justin Kiser. He was also a loving father-in-law to Katie Horn and cherished brother to Kristy (Greg) Bailey.

Perhaps nothing meant more to Ken than his four grandchildren, Aubrey, Charlotte, Harper, and Waylon. He treasured each of them and delighted in every opportunity to spend time together. Being their Poppy was one of the greatest joys in his life.

Ken had a passion for the electrical trade, dedicating more than 35 years to the industry. He truly enjoyed getting up and going to work. He loved the people, the trade, and the camaraderie that came with it. He finished his career with Hi Tech Electrical Contractors, where he found not only wonderful colleagues, but a second family.

Ken loved connecting with people, encouraging apprentice lineman, sharing his knowledge, and helping others reach their goals. Hill willingness to teach, encourage, and lend a hand left an impression on countless people throughout his career.

Ken will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him. His kindness, humor, encouragement, and love will remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

In accordance with Ken’s wishes, his services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisgillum.com.
