Linda Sue Morgan

Linda Sue Morgan, age 71, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, August 17th, 2026, at her home after a lengthy battle with ALS. Linda was born February 28th, 1955, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to the late Robert and Gail (Carpenter) Steele.

Linda was a 1973 graduate of Vinton County High School and an employee of AEP for over 33 years.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John Morgan; her son, Wes (Jenny) Morgan; her granddaughter, Lucy Morgan; siblings: Bobby (Darlene) Steele, Nancy Steele, and Judy (Jack) Yates; several nieces and great-nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Peggy Morgan; brother-in-law, Jerry (Pam) Morgan; and numerous special friends whom she loved dearly.

Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Sonny Morgan.

Per her wishes, no public services will be held. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Vinton Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
