Deborah "Debbie" Jean Fyffe

Deborah “Debbie” Jean (Perry) Fyffe, age 74, of Jackson, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 27, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born July 9, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Herman and Joann (Perkins) Perry.

She is preceded in death her grandparents, John and Mattie Perry, who lovingly raised her; her mother, Joann (Perkins) Garzaniti; father, Nick Garzaniti; biological father, Herman Perry; stepmother, Irene Perry; and brothers, Steve Jaynes and Michael Perry.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Preston Lee Fyffe; daughters, Tonya and Kelly; grandchildren, Danton (Bri) Hatfield and Austin (Lexi) Merchant; great grandchildren, Dezi “Doodles” and Kenna “Kenny Bug”; stepchildren, Steve and Sherry. Also surviving are special friends, Bev Howard and Sandi Scott and many beloved extended family.

Debbie was an avid reader; her favorite author was Stephen King. She loved to travel, she enjoyed her “summer girls’ trips” with her daughters. Christmas was her favorite time of year. She was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan to the bitter end. Her grandsons and her great granddaughters were the light of her life.

Per Debbie’s wishes there will be no public visitation. Private burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery with Minister David Pinkerton officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
