Shirley (Leedy) Davis, age 72, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Jenkins Care Community Center in Wellston. She was born in Jackson to the late Isaac and Francis (Riegel) Leedy.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth (Juanita) Leedy, of Ravenswood, West Virginia; sister-in-law, Lora (Jack) Jenkins, of Wellston; brothers-in-law, Charles Davis, of Wellston, Melvin (Sue) Davis, of Bevard, North Carolina, Paul (Pam) Davis, of Wellston; and special cousins, Doris Roberts and Robert “Bob” Black. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Davis and sister-in-law, Mona Lenegar.

She attended Freedom Baptist Church in Jackson. She enjoyed anything outdoors, especially working outside.

Friends may call Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 12-1 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery in Wellston.
