John “Johnny” L. Kerr Jr., age 51, of Jackson, Ohio went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 7th, 2017 at Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. He was born July 23rd, 1966 at Anderson Community Hospital in Anderson, Indiana to the late John L. Kerr Sr. and Velma L. Roy Rhodifer.

John enjoyed making carvings out of rocks, walking in the woods, and watching television.

He is survived by his wife, Daphne Kerr of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Sasha Mullins-Kerr; mother, Velma Rhodifer of Anderson, Indiana; brothers: Jammie (Barbara) Kerr of Gallia County, Jason (Angie) of Coalton, Joshua (Karrie) Rhodifer of Anderson, Indiana; aunts: Violet Roy of Tennessee and Linda Trivette of Jackson, Ohio; uncles: Robert “Bob” Roy of Indiana and Larry Kerr of Wellston, Ohio; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, William Virgil Roy and Helen Virginia Crouch Ryan; paternal grandparents, August Kerr and Goldie Glass Kerr; aunts: Opal Kerr Ross and B. Jayne Kerr Horton; Uncle, James “Jim” Roy; and several cousins.
