Patsy (Pat) Yvonne Middleton, age 76, of Logan, Ohio (formerly of Pedro, Ohio) passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Carlin House in Logan, Ohio. She was married in June of 1962 to the late Ralph Middleton.

Patsy was born May 25, 1941 in Lawrence county and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Nora DePriest. She attended Rock Hill High School – Class of 1959. She moved to Columbus, Ohio shortly after where she lived until she retired from the Hart’s Big Bear Corporation. She then moved to Logan, Ohio where she lived until her passing.

Patsy was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds, and golfer, Rickie Fowler. She loved to go fishing, mushroom hunting, and loved spoiling her great-granddaughter and grandchildren, whom she adored.

Patsy is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Lenny Potochnik of Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Kara (Zach) Stephens and Justin Potochnik; great-granddaughter, Emma

Stephens, and she could not wait to welcome her great-grandson, Elijah Stephens, but the good Lord called her home before she got to meet him. One sister, Ida “Nan” (Douglas) Dean of Pedro, Ohio; and two brothers, Lowell (Noel) DePriest of Pedro, Ohio and Robert (Wilma) DePriest of Peebles, Ohio.

In addition to her husband, Patsy was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Gayle (Gordon) Collins and Nadine “Sue” (Harold) Rogers; and two brothers, Roy “Tom” DePriest and Floyd “Butch” (Diana) DePriest.

A viewing will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 11-2pm at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home, 202 Maple Avenue, Oak Hill, Ohio 45656. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 2pm with Reverend Brian Phillips officiating. A dinner will be held at LaRosa’s Family Restaurant, 966 E Main Street, Jackson, Ohio 45640, immediately following the service.
