Vicki Lynn Midkiff, age 64, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, June 22nd, 2023, at SOMC Hospice Center of Portsmouth. She was born November 13th, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio to Marlene (Snyder) Absten and Wayne Caulley.
Vicki was a 1976 graduate of Oak Hill High School. She attended Ohio University earning her bachelor's degree in Accounting. She was a former employee of Ohio Precious Metals and she attended St. Paul's Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, taking walks, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Midkiff of Oak Hill, Ohio; her children, Ashley Midkiff of Auburndale, Florida ad Adam Midkiff (Jennifer Stuhldreher) of Houston, Texas; siblings: Greg (Darlene) Caulley, Twyla Kelley, Lisa (Kent) Sellers, and Brian Caulley; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, and her fur baby, Patches.
Vicki was preceded in death by her mother, Marlene (Snyder) Absten and her grandmother, Mary Dell Snyder.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 25th, 2023, from 1-3PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 3PM with Pastor Jeffrey Lambert officiating with burial at Horeb Cemetery immediately after. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
