Lowell G. Ford, age 78, of Oak Hill, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024, at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born December 7, 1946, to the late Lovena (Jackson) Ford.
He is survived by his son, Charles Ford (Lacey Sturgell); brothers, Roger (Christle) Ford; sisters, Clemevest “Tootsie”, Dorothy “Dot”, Joyce “Joy”.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his son, Lowell Gene Ford II; sisters, Alice, Mary, Lenora, Marlene “Clarissa”, and brothers, Errol, Robert, Timmy.
Lowell graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1969. He joined the United States Army and after joined the United States Air Force. He worked in the heating and cooling business most of his life until he retired.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 12-2 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 with Roger officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
