Lynn Larry McGowan, age 72, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away at Doctors Hospital West in Columbus, Ohio, after a brief illness. He was born January 6th, 1952, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Hobert and Marcella (Jenkins) McGowan.

Lynn enjoyed repairing mowers, working in the yard, and fishing with his buddy, Gavin.

He is survived by his brother, Mac McGowan; sisters, Cathy (Rick) Boyd and Vicky (Danny) Ray; as well as several special family members including: Hubert (Patty) McGowan, Heather McGowan, Lacey (Travis) Dempsey, Gavin McGowan, Brantley Dempsey, Liam Dempsey, Calliope Dempsey, and Clayton Dempsey.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her brothers, John Edward “Butch” McGowan, Keith McGowan, and Clarence McGowan.

No public services will be held at Lynn’s request. Burial will be at the Congregational Cemetery in Oak Hill, Ohio. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
