Celebration of Life services for Junita Frances (Waddell) Williams-Montgomery-Hatfield, age 91, of Jackson, Ohio who passed away on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at Jenkins Care Community of Wellston will be held on Sunday, October 13th, 2024. Frances was born March 31st, 1933, in Ghent, West Virginia daughter of the late Troy C. and Hazy Rosina (Richmond) Waddell. She was the wife of the late Seth Williams, her husband of 35 years and father of her four children.

 

Frances was active in her church, enjoyed attending family reunions in Beckley, West Virginia, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and sewing. Additionally, she delighted in dressing up in costumes for parades, work events, line dancing, and many other social events. She loved God, her family, having fun, and traveling.

 

Frances is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Bob) Huchison of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren: Joe of Jackson, Ohio, Dusty of Washington State, Amber (Brandon) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jamie, Jericho, Seth Troy, and Annie; daughter-in-law, Debbie Williams of New Mexico; two brothers, Raymond (Mary) of Maryland and Howard (Mary) of Pennsylvania; as well as numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Besides her parents and husband, Seth Williams she was preceded in death by Claude Montgomery and Robert Hatfield; a daughter, Alecia Rosina Williams; two sons, James and Warren; granddaughter, Emily Williams; granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Gilliland; and siblings: Mantha, Mildred, Leanna, Clifford, Amos, Johnny, Phyllis, Betty, and Earl.

 

The family would like to extend special thanks to Jenkins Care Community and the First Baptist Church of Jackson. We would also like to share thanks for the many prayers and visits from friends and family during this time of loss.

 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024, from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 13th, at 3PM with Pastor Seth Fallon officiating at the First Baptist Church of Jackson with additional calling hours immediately prior from 2PM-3PM at the church. Frances (Mom), you have been an awesome mother in law. I always felt loved and appreciated. A wonderful Gramma and great Gramma to all your New Mexico family. We love you tremendously.
