Steven “Buzz” Karr, age 60, of Thurman, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 15th, 2019. He was born November 17th, 1958 in South Perry, Ohio to Cecil and Amy (Poling) Karr.

Steve was married to Denise (Smith) Karr in which next month would have been their 25th year together. Steve enjoyed doing many things including restoring old cars, taking his cars to shows, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on his porch.

Survivors include his wife, Denise; his three sons: Deven (Ashley) Karr of Chillicothe, Ohio, Chris (Kim) Frazier of Thurman, Ohio, and Marcus Frazier of Thurman, Ohio; daughter, Elizabeth (Phil) May of Chillicothe, Ohio; four grandchildren: Wyatt Frazier, Lexie and Trinity Karr, and Jaxson May; siblings: Kay (Tom) Burns, Charlie (Candy) Karr, Shag (Mona) Karr, Darlene (Tim) Adams, and Michelle (Chic) Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Karr.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 18th, 2019 from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
