Richard L. “Rusty” Miller, age 67, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Monday, January 29th, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 13th, 1950 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Glenn E. and Ann E. (Jones) Miller.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jane (Fisher) Miller; son, Rick (Joanna) Miller; two grandsons, Bradley (Amy) Miller and Richard A. (Leah) Miller; granddaughter, Miranda Miller; and sister-in-law, Cathy Miller all of Oak Hill, Ohio. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela A. Miller and a brother, Gary O. Miller all of Oak Hill, Ohio.

The family wishes to thank Heartland Hospice of Jackson for their excellent care of Rusty and to Minister Cline Rawlins who offered comforting prayer, and to his family for continued support.

In keeping with Rusty’s wishes, he is to be cremated. There will be no calling hours observed. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill and will be handled at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com
