Ruth Imogene (Chaney) Hammond, age 93, of Columbus, Ohio passed away October 17th, 2017. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Sue) Hammond; sister, Donna Smith; daughter in law, Carolyn Hammond; grandchildren: Jeff (Tina) Hammond, Kurt (Karen) Hammond, Alicia (Troy) Lauffer, Micah Hammond, and Lucas Hammond; great-grandchildren: Eric Hammond, Michael Hammond, Julia Hammond, Marisa Hammond, Sidney Lauffer, and Mason Lauffer; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Hammond and son, B. Keith Hammond.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20th, 2017 from 11-1pm at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held immediately after at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillumfh.com.
