Helen Conley

Helen Conley, age 95, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born April 3rd, 1931, to the late Ira and Vernie Adkins.

Helen was a member of Pine Creek United Baptist Church of South Webster, Ohio for 75 years.

She is survived by her children: Mary (Carl) Murphy of Chillicothe, Ohio, Betty (Mac) Potter of Oak Hill, Ohio, Gus Conley of Oak Hill, Ohio, Zona Strickland of Grayson, Kentucky, Anna Ohm (Bill Edwards) of Columbus, Ohio, and Tony (Crystal) Robinson of Oak Hill, Ohio; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor (Nelson) Cottrill of Port Charlotte, Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Conley; daughter, Shirley Robinson; sons, Rocky Lee Conley and Samuel G. Conley Jr.; daughter-in-law, Annette Conley; and siblings: Cleddie Adkins, Minnie Jane Adkins, Dearl Adkins, Richard Adkins, Elmer Adkins, Paul Adkins, Judy Thomas, Gertrude Adkins, Pearl Holbrook, Roger Adkins, and James Adkins.

Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew her kindness.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, from 5PM-7PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th, 2026, at 12PM at the funeral home with Lawrence Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at C.M. Cemetery.
