Deborah “Debbie” Kay (Parks) McCoy, age 74, passed away early Thursday, May 21, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 20, 1952 in Ray, Ohio to the late Charles Parks and Marcella (West) Warrens.


Debbie is survived by her daughter, Missy McCoy (John Nelson); grandchildren, Carrie (Nathan) Belcher, Austin (Alyssa) Rice, Ethan Nelson, and J.D. Nelson; great grandchildren, Marshall Jordan, Eli and Gideon Belcher, Ezra, Landon and Oliver, and Kodi Nelson; and brother-in-law, Keith (Jennifer) McCoy. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Bob McCoy.


Debbie graduated from Jackson High School with the class of 1970. She married Bob a year later on July 3, 1971. She worked at G.C. Murphy in her earlier years and then moved on to work at Bank Ohio, which became National City, where she retired as bank manager. She enjoyed her animals, and was a 4-H advisor for close to 30 years.


Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 4-8 PM at the Tick Ridge Church, 1817 Borland Rd., Ray, Ohio 45672. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Tick Ridge Church with pastor Jorge Anido officiating. Burial will follow in Tick Ridge Cemetery.
