Donald H. F. Eldridge, age 74, of Oak Hill, went home to be with his beloved wife, Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Springfield Regional Hospital in Springfield, Ohio. He was born January 5, 1943 in Kingston, Ohio to the late John C. and Pearlie M. (Vanover) Eldridge. Don was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was a life member of the VFW post 3660, of Springfield, Ohio.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Eldridge, of Oak Hill, Donald Eldridge, of Springfield, Michael (Dana) Eldridge, of Columbus and Tammy (Bill) Miller, of Springfield; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Johnson, Andrew (Brandy) Eldridge and Billy Miller; great grandchildren, Hunter and Everly Eldridge, Mikey Johnson Jr., and Riley and Payton Coy. Also surviving are his brothers, Chet and Gene Eldridge; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends and his beloved hound dog, Gerty Sue.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Patricia “Sue” (Brady) Eldridge, his granddaughter, Chantae Miller, brothers, Paul, Willard, Kenny, and his twin, Darrell, and sisters, Ellery and Eldean.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery with military graveside services.
