Thomas “Tom” Floyd Pelfrey, age79, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 11th, 2021, at his home. He was born February 16th, 1942, in Rodney, Ohio to the late Fred and Ermel (Gothard) Pelfrey.
He is survived by brothers, Wilbur “Jake” Pelfrey, Alvie Pelfrey, and Joe Pelfrey; sister, Geraldine “Gerri” Briegl; daughter, Kim Woods; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; as well as special friend, Linda Dowdy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William “Ray” Pelfrey and sister, Edith Osborne.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 14th, 2021, from 12:45-2 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with Masonic services beginning the visitation hour at 12:45. Funeral ceremony with military honors will follow beginning at 2PM with Pastor Bill Zink officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
