Raymond A. Folden Sr., age 80, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born June 21, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harry and Osa (Delaney) Folden.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sharon Folden; sons, Ray Jr. (Kimberly) Folden and Randy Lee (Terri) Folden; grandchildren, Chelsie Bates, Taelor (Anthony) Malone, Raysha Folden, Tabetha Folden, Randy Isaiah Folden, Tara (Kevin) Workman, and Scott (Autumn) Perkins; great-great-grandchildren: Rigley Allen Malone, Rorie Rae Malone, Rawlings Anthony Raymond Malone, Owen Folden, Bryce Cohan, and Braydon Stapleton; brother, Ross (Mary) Folden; sisters, Joy (Jim) Hale, and Judy Whalen; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin Folden and Gene Folden; and sisters, Carol Landrum, Peggy Jewell, and Thelma Boswell.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 1-3 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM with Rev Butch Cooper officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
