On Friday, June 16th, 2023, Patricia “Patty” Farley, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 45. Patty was born April 11th, 1978, in Sidney, New York to parents Seth and Anne (Cezanne) Campbell.
In November of 1982, Patty relocated to Hastings, New York where she grew up. Later she relocated to Roscoe, New York, where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, which she enjoyed. Patty later became a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed making crafts, collecting antiques, hiking, traveling, geocaching, and spending time with her grandchildren. In 2014, Patty moved to Jackson, Ohio where she married the love of her life, John Farley. While in Ohio, she accomplished her lifelong dream of completing her bachelor’s degree in behavioral science. Patty spent time volunteering at the Lilian Jones Museum.
Patty is survived by loving husband, John Farley of Jackson, Ohio; two sons, Howie Campbell of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Joshua (Angie) Closs of McArthur, Ohio; two daughters, Cheyanne (Steven) Mayer of Sidney, New York and Brittney (Parker) Closs of Mount Gilead, Ohio; three stepchildren, Johnny Farley of Jackson, Ohio, Brianna (Jaxon) McQuaid of Jackson Ohio, and Thomas (Madison) Farley of Mount Alto, West Virginia; two sisters, Violet Campbell of Parish, New York and April (Rick) Murphy of Walton, New York; thirteen grandchildren; and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by parents, Seth and Anne Campbell and Cornelia Yarmen; son, Mason Wayne Closs; brother, James Campbell; niece, Logan Skutt; stepson, George A. Farley.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 23rd, 2023, from 2-4PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4PM with Pastor Randy Patterson officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
