Jason Gerard Carter, age 50, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away after a long illness on Monday, February 10th, 2025, at his home. Jason was born January 4th, 1975, in Baltimore, Maryland to Gerard “Jerry” and Linda (Genetti) Carter of Kissimmee, Florida.
Besides his parents, Jason is survived by his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Michelle “Mickey” (Keenan) Carter of Oak Hill, Ohio; his children whom he held close to his heart: Jason Carter II of Oak Hill, Ohio, Jacob Carter and Jordan Carter of Kissimmee, Florida; stepchildren: Gerard Keenan of Oak Hill, Ohio and Kage Keenan of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; and grandchildren: Mikinlee, Colton, Easton, and Liam.
Jason was preceded in death by his first born son, Mark Carter who passed away shortly after birth.
Jason was owner of Redneck Recycling, a side business he started while living in Florida. He was a hard worker, able to do most anything whether it was building a home from the ground up or a car from the engine out. Jason will be remembered by those who loved him as forgiving-always willing to give someone a second chance and as a giver-he would give anyone the shirt off his back. His greatest faith was in God and the blessings he and his family has been provided.
Per his wishes he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home via phone, mail, or in person at either of our two locations.
