David Brian Jones, age 60, of Jackson, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 6th, 2021. He was born April 19th, 1961, in Gallipolis, Ohio to Juanita (Snyder) Parker and the late Evan Thomas Jones.
David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debbie (Cameron) Jones; his children: Candy Jean Jones (Jamie Mansel), David (Amanda) Jones, and Misty Dawn Jones and Roger Shane Donnely whom he raised; grandchildren: Ashlee Craigle, Cameron Craigle, Donald Hudgeons, and Audrey Jones; his mother, Juanita Parker; siblings: Diana Needham, Candy (Zeke Glasgow) Lewis, Gregg (Phyllis) Jones, and Duane Adkins; nieces and nephews, Kari, Matthew, Tiffany, Bobby, Felicia, Renee, Aaron, Nikki, and DJ; mother-in-law, Kay Cameron; sisters-in-law, Donna (Skip) Goble and Lillian (Kevin) Cameron; brother-in-law, Bobby Brady; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Karen Gomez; stepfather, Richard Parker; father-in-law, Don Cameron; mother-in-law, Samey Cameron; and sister-in-law, Shannon Brady.
David was a family man. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed boating and playing volleyball with his family. He was a former employee of both Union Tank Car and Bellisio’s.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021, from 5PM-7PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 11th, 2021, at 12PM at the funeral home with Pastor Vicki Bays officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
