Colleen Joan Malone, age 85 of Oak Hill passed away September 14, 2020 peacefully at home. She was born January 13, 1935 to the late Arnold and Bertha (Logan) Sharp.

She is survived by her children, Mike (Pam) Malone, of Oak Hill, Cris (Rita) Malone, of Oak Hill, Teresa (Tim) Jenkins, of Jackson and Penny Malone, of Oak Hill; brother, Lowell (Shirley) Sharp, of Gahanna, Ohio, Myron (Connie) Sharp, of Liberty, MO; six grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Lee Malone; one sibling and one grandson.

The family would like to send special thank you to Holzer Hospital of Jackson, National Church Residence Home Health, and caretakers; Carolyn Clarkson, Nina Robinson, Angie Woods, and Eloise Salyers.

Public graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery in Oak Hill with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Parkinson’s Research Foundation, 5969 Cattleridge Blvd Ste 100, Sarasota, FL 34232 and/or National Church Residence Home Health, 681 E. 3rd St., Waverly, OH. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask while indoors and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
