Delores Jean (Jeanie) Lantz, age 78, of Jackson, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. After a three-year courageous battle with cancer, she went to be home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Delores was born in Allentown, PA to the late Dayton and Eva Alt.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James E. Lantz Sr., of Jackson; her daughter, Cathy Chendraj, of Cambridge, OH; son, James E. (Rita) Lantz Jr., of Ray, OH; three grandsons, Brian (Manda) Thompson, of Logan, OH, James E. Lantz III, of Ray, OH, and Kyle M. Lantz, of Ray, OH; and her sister, Sandy Anderson, of Texas.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Alt, of Texas.

Private graveside services will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at Byer Cemetery with Delores’ grandson, Brian Thompson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
