Maria Gloria Wood, age 58, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 7th, 2020 at Oakwood Community Health of Jackson. She was born in El Rosario, Mexico on July 11th, 1960 to Ramon Garcia de Alba Peres and Maria del Carmen Arias.

Maria enjoyed reading her bible, gardening, watching tv, and gambling.

She is survived by her three sons: Richard Wood, Sean Wood, and Fred Wood; grandson, Jayce Landyn Wood; mother, Maria del Carmen Arias Presiado; fiancé, Guillermo “Willie” Soria; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ramon Gardia de Alba Peres and her husband, Fred C. Wood.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 10th, 2020 from 11AM-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson.
