Robert P. Clarkson, age 86 of Ironton, formerly of Oak Hill passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Crystal Care Center in Coal Grove, Ohio. He was born June 25, 1933 in Jackson County to the late Evan Lee and Maude Elizabeth (Addis) Clarkson.

Bob is survived by his son, Jim Clarkson, of Ironton; sisters, Ruth Ann Tackett, of Huntington, IN., and Janie Sue Clarkson, of Oak Hill.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee (Dyer) Clarkson; brothers, Bill Clarkson and Dave Clarkson; one infant sister and daughter-in-law, Betty Clarkson.

Bob was a great father and provider. He liked everyone and never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him.
