Todd Alan Bachtel, age 49, of Albany, Ohio and formerly of Jackson, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 9th, 2018 at The James in Columbus. He was born November 20th, 1969 in Gallipolis, Ohio.

He is survived by his mother, Betty (Johnson) Bachtel; father, James Bachtel; his son, Cole Alan Bachtel; his significant other, Joyce Clevenger; brother, James Russell (Angie) Bachtel; niece, Jesse Bachtel; and nephew, Jeremy Moore; as well as being “papaw” to Brody Sprague.

Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing, and enjoyed playing th4e guitar and singing.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 14th, 2018 from 12-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Vega Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
