Our beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, and Brother, Jerry Lee Cassidy, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio went home to be with his Jesus on Monday, July 23rd, 2018. He was born December 24th, 1941 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Jeremiah L. and Pearl (Kisor) Cassidy.

Jerry enjoyed singing and fishing with his grandchildren. He attended Welcome Chapel in Oak Hill. He remained faithful to his God and was dearly loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce (Gould) Cassidy; children: Christina (Greg) Wolf, Gina (John) Peabody, Cheryl (Nathan) Wiford, Jerry Cassidy Jr., Aaron (MaryBeth) Cassidy, David Cassidy, and Julie (Daniel) Boyd; grandchildren: Jonathan, Jacob, Jenae, Joshua, and Jianna Peabody, Courtney, Tyler (Jessica), Jordan, and Cynthia Wiford, Kaitlin and Caleb Cassidy, Brianna Cassidy, Caleb Malone, and Conner, Hayden, and Liam Boyd; great-grandchildren: Katalena and Lucy; brother, Marlin “Wayne” (Mary) Cassidy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Bernita (Cassidy) Shelton and Mary (Cassidy) Fisher; brother, Daniel Cassidy; grandson, Justin Wiford; and daughter-in-law, Deborah Cassidy.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 from 12-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2PM at the funeral home with son-in-law, John Peabody officiating. Burial will follow at Gallia Cemetery.
