Robert Gene (Bob) Swann, age 82, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by family. He was born in Charley, Kentucky on May 14, 1934 to the late A.L. Swann and Gathel (Scarberry) Swann. He was a minister, a retired farmer and retired as an Operating Engineer and electrician. He enjoyed planes, flying and was a pilot. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing, visiting with family and friends and being with his grandchildren. He was passionate about his faith and a Master of the Bible.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Fulton Swann; three children, Debbie (Leander Jr.) Miller, Rob (Cindy) Swann and Barbara (Tom) Rolston, all of Findlay, Ohio; step children, Regina Schuler, Angie (Marcus) Kearns and Lisa Taylor; seven grandchildren, Eric Miller, Leanna (Natt) McGuire, Brad (Gina) Bloomfield, Christopher (Katie) Bloomfield, Ashley James, Tiffany (George Risner) and Alicia (AJ) Lund. Also surviving are step grandchildren, Dedrick and Matthew Kearns, Kristan and Jeremy Moore and Eden Taylor; along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Miller, son-in-law, Bob Miller, brothers, Alvie and Kenneth Swann, sister, Evelene Canter, brother-in-law, James Canter and sister-in-law, Gwenda Swann.

Per his request, there will be no calling hours and private graveside services will be held Monday, February 6th, 2017.
