Walter Jackson, age 79, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 19th, 2017. He was born January 21st, 1937 to the late Floyd and Laura (Williams) Jackson.

He is survived by his children: Scott (Lee) Jackson of Wisconsin, Linda Jackson and Tim Jackson, both of Oak Hill, Ohio; grandchildren: Justin (Samantha) Jackson of Jackson, Ohio, Laura Jackson of Jackson, Ohio, and Cori Jackson of St. Louis, Missouri; five great-grandchildren; as well as long-time friend and companion, Norma Hammond; siblings: Ora (Nancy) Jackson, Garnet Mollett, Virginia (Earl) Stanley, Ida Bell Franks, Pauline Jackson, Charles Jackson, and Anna (Thomas) Bayse.

In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his siblings, James Jackson and Marilyn Jackson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at 1pm at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Viewing will be held on Monday, January 23rd, 2017 prior to the service from 11-1pm. Burial will follow at C.M. Cemetery.
