Phyllis “Gerri” Holloway Allen, age 78, of Wheelersburg, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at SOMC Hospital in Portsmouth. She was born September 6, 1938 in Wheelersburg, to the late Dan and Mary (Huston) Holloway.

Gerri is survived by her one son, Lowell Allen, of Ocala FL.; two brothers, Paul (Nancy) Holloway, of Wheelersburg and Larry (Patty) Holloway, of Sciotoville; two sisters, Sue (Jim) Nance, of Wheelersburg and Judy (Gary) Caldwell, also of Wheelersburg; granddaughter, Chelsea (Kendell) Gervais, of Ocala FL.; three great grandchildren and a special love for baby Kendell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special cousin, Gail Wagner, who Gerri loved.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Allen; sisters, Jean Rawlins and Lorie Traylor.

Gerri was of the Protestant faith and will be dearly missed by her family.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with Pastor Chris Oiler officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
