Bonnie Jean Duhamel, age 91, passed away June 26th, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 11th, 1930, in West Lafayette, Ohio the daughter of the late Addison and Edna Wiggins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Duhamel; brother, William Wiggins; and sister, Lois Brown.

Bonnie was a graduate of West Lafayette High School. She was a member of United Methodist Churches in Jackson and Newcomerstown. She worked as a dental assistant for 45 years in Newcomerstown and Jackson. She and her husband were foster parents to several children. She had a love for dance and was an instructor and performed in minstrels and follies. She was a caring, loving person to everyone. She is survived by her daughter, B. Jill Elliott; sons, John (Mary) Duhamel and Tom Mitchell; five grandchildren: Jennifer (Dave) Woodard, Jason (Susan) Elliott, Tai (Kirk) Leins, and Jamey (Chris) Evanstar, and Josh Mitchell; nine great-grandchildren: Cameron, Alex, Lethander, Candy, Ichiro, Galadriel, Julian, Sacha, and Rocco. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021, from 5PM-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Friends may call again Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 12PM-2PM at the Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown, Ohio. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM with Janie Karl officiating.
