Our beloved mother, Kathy Ann Adkins, age 69, of Oak Hill went to be with the Lord, on Thursday October 8, 2020. She was born on March 17, 1951 in Louisa, KY to the late James and Wauleka (Thompson) Swan.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of 52 years, Dale Adkins; a daughter, Angie (Jamie) Saunders; sons, Dale (Lisa) Adkins and Jason (Rebekah) Adkins; and a brother, Ronnie (Roxanne) Swann. Also surviving are several grandchildren, Megan Ewing, Andrew Cemini, Tiffany Childers, Cody Adkins, Ayden Adkins, Ashton Adkins and Axl Adkins; great grandchildren, Brynlee, Natalie and Laney Ewing and Braylen Adkins; and nephews, Tony and Tim Swann, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Sue Swann.

She was one of the most caring and loving mothers God ever created. Her family was her life, she loved them more than anything else in this World. This amazing woman will be sadly missed by her family and many more.

A private graveside service will be held by the request of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.
