Larry James Elkins, age 73, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 at Holzer of Jackson. He was born September 21st, 1946 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Jessie and Louise (Dixon) Elkins.

Larry served in the United States Army as a marksman during Vietnam. He attended Victory Chapel Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Roseanne (Mannering) Elkins; children: Trina (Eugene) Lennox, Eric Elkins, Ramona (James) Camp, Anthony (Amy) Elkins, Scott (Jennifer) Elkins, and Rain Hendricks; grandchildren, Shaun, Amber, Alexis, Austin “A.J.”, Ridge, Tyler, Emily, Aaron, Breanna, Adreanna, Savannah, Miranda, Hunter, Holden, Cora, Theron, Rowen; nine great grandchildren; siblings: Lennie (Jonette) Elkins, Donna (Carson) Baker, Sue (Doug) Fannin, Vida Channell, Joe Elkins and Marty Elkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jed Elkins and brother-in-law, Paul Channell.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 18th, 2019 from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum of Jackson, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2019 at 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
