Morgan Leslie Reese, age 78, of Texas, formerly of Jackson, passed away Saturday, July 20 2019 at the VA Hospital in Chillicothe. He was born in Oak Hill to the late William Everett and Alma (Leslie) Reese.

He is survived by his wife of 36 wonderful years, Patricia “Patty” (Dillinger) Reese; children, Todd (Hope) Helman and Duska (Derek) Reynolds; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; great friends, George and Sandy Coleman; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Sue Hayes and sisters, Dorothy (Dottie) Stewart and Louise Henn.

Morgan graduated from Jackson High School class of 1958. He then served in the United States Navy as a medic. He retired in 2005 from Mead, traveled for a few years and then moved to Texas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners.

Friends may call Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 11-12:30 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A masonic service will end calling hours at 12:30 with funeral services following at 1:00. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery in Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent towww.lewisgillum.com.
