Rev. Howard Hubbard, age 88, of Oak Hill, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Oakwood in Jackson. He was born May 5, 1930 in Floyd Co. Kentucky to the late Mallory and Eva (Hurd) Hubbard.

Howard served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Oak Hill Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Danny G. Hubbard and brothers, Malcom, Archer, Adrian and Arthur Hubbard.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nancy L. Hubbard; children, Jeff (Rhonda) Hubbard, Susan (Tim) Wilson and Mary Jane Parsons; sister, Jan Stover; former daughter-in-law, Ellen; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces, nephews, relative and friends.

Friends may call Monday, April 15, 2019 from 11-2 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 with Pastors Danny Boggs and Allen Simpson officiating. Burial will follow in Moriah Cemetery.
