Timothy Sergent, age 60, of Oak Hill, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He was born February 19, 1959 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Ted and Leona Sergent.

Timmy is survived by his daughter, Amy Whitt; brothers, Tony (Nancy) Sergent, of Indiana, Donnie Sergent, of Oak Hill, Gary (Sandy) Sergent, of Ironton, Douglas (Shirley) Sergent, of Virginia, Keith Sergent, of Oak Hill and Gregory Sergent, also of Oak Hill; sisters, Kathleen (Bill) Juhasz, of Jackson, Mary Sergent, of Georgia, Vicki (Tim) Whittington, of Oak Hill and Marsha (Denver) Adkins, of Oak Hill. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Marlin Sergent, and sister, Pearleen Stidham.

Timmy loved to hunt and fish. He loved his family and was a blast to be around. He enjoyed cooking for his family. His nieces and nephews referred to him as a “cool” uncle. He will be missed.

Friends may call Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 12-2 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held immediately following the calling hours at 2:00 PM.
