Stephen M. “Bub” Williams Jr., age 33, of Jackson, passed away after a long illness, surrounded by the family he loved on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington. He was born July 28, 1984 in Gallipolis to Stephen Williams Sr. and Lacinda “Lynn” (Mickey) Kincaid.

In addition to his parents and step father, he is survived by his sister, Laci (Andy) Hilderbrant, of Oak Hill; nephew, Aaron Canter, of Oak Hill; grandparents, John and Cindy Rose, of Jackson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hershel and Jean Williams.

Before his illness, Stephen worked as a pipe fitter and mechanic with Accurate Mechanical Solutions and was a former graduate of Buckeye Hills Peace Officer training and a former Wellston auxiliary police officer. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Friends may call Monday, June 11, 2018 from 11-1 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 with Pastor Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
